Streatham & Clapham High School’s Sixth Form offers outstanding facilities that support both academic success and personal growth. At the heart of the Sixth Form experience is the modern Sixth Form Centre, featuring quiet study areas for focused work, as well as common rooms for socialising and relaxing.
The Sixth Form Café serves as a lively social hub, offering a range of healthy food options and providing a comfortable space for informal study and building friendships. We are an “allergen aware school” with no nut products permitted in school or at school events. However, there are a number of other allergens, as well as nuts, that we manage in our Health & Safety processes and catering. We continue to be nut-free, but this also points to our vital awareness of other allergens in order that we minimise risks from allergies for pupils and staff. Further details are available online.
State-of-the-art classrooms and laboratories, equipped with the latest technology, support a wide range of subjects, while the school library offers an extensive collection of resources to aid A-Level coursework and research projects. Creative students benefit from well-equipped art studios, a professional-grade drama theatre, and music rooms for exploration and performance. Our newly redesigned IT suite offers state-of-the-art facilities, including a dedicated Podcast room for creative projects. With sustainable materials throughout: recycled plastic surfaces, eco-friendly floor tiles and sustainably sourced wood, the suite reflects our commitment to environmental responsibility.
The school’s sports facilities, including a gymnasium, outdoor courts, playing fields, and a fitness suite, promote an active lifestyle, while dedicated spaces for relaxation foster a sense of community and belonging. SCHS’s Sixth Form facilities are designed to support every aspect of student life, preparing pupils for the next steps in their academic and personal journeys.
